Helping You Move Better

Clinical Exercise Physiology is the use of individualized, evidence-based exercise as part of the prevention, management and rehabilitation of health conditions and injuries.

Movement looks different for everyone, but it's important that everybody does it. As we age, our bodies decondition. Everyday activities become more of a challenge, and we want to be as strong as we can for as long as we can. The more we do, the longer we can stay independent. Movement is key at all ages.

How It Works

A clear, step-by-step guide to how we’ll work together at The Move Clinic.

01

Initial Assessment

We begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand your medical history, lifestyle, current fitness level, daily challenges, medications, and individual goals. This will include musculoskeletal screening, fitness testing, and checking your vitals. This is where we establish how our service can best support and assist you.

02

Personalised Exercise Plan

We create an exercise programme based from the inital consult and the information provided.

03

Regular Exercise Sessions

Complete supervised exercise sessions in a safe, welcoming environment, with guidance throughout your programme.

You'll complete your program through either one-on-one sessions or our Open Clinic, depending on the level of support you require. Our standard program runs for 12 weeks, or longer where appropriate.

04

Progress & Review

We'll reassess your progress every three months and make changes to your program as needed to help you reach your goals.
